WWF | ZANPANDA

-In Japan, approximately 30% of the environmental impact attributed to individuals stems from wasted food. Surprisingly, people don't

give much thought to this matter daily. WWF aimed to tackle this by creating an opportunity to raise awareness about food waste

through simple actions rather than just education.

-We created"ZANPANDA," a smartphone app that lets users easily share their excess food with friends and neighbors.

The app was launched around New Year's Eve, when many people tend to have leftover food.

-When users open the app, they can snap a photo of their extra food and share it. The information is then sent to other users, and the quickest one enjoys the leftovers.

-This quirky yet innovative approach to addressing environmental concerns quickly became a popular topic on the Internet.
